GROUT CLEANING, STRIPPED WAX FLOORS
Think about how many people walk on your tile floors. While tile is thought to be resistant to stains and relatively easy to clean, grout is porous and absorbs dirt, grime, and harmful germs.
Traditional mopping simply spreads dirt and dust around, leaving anything that doesn’t stick to your mop behind. Soil build-up and other residue darken your tile and grout over time. Our tile and grout cleaning technology leave your floors clean, residue-free and restores brilliant color and shine to your floors, Grout lines are concrete with color that has no protection from dirt, stains and spills. The grout between the tiles is very porous and will absorb dirt and spills, which will become permanent stains. As your grout becomes more and more soiled, it will get darker and darker, becoming a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. In time the light colored grout will become so dark it will create black borders around each tile.
THE CLEANING PROCESS
We use a specially developed pre-treatment solution and high-pressure, hot water rinse “steam cleaning system”. Our tile cleaning system works great on ceramic tile and grout, porcelain, stone, & other hard surfaces.

STREPPED AND WAXING FLOORS
There are many flooring surfaces that can be stripped & waxed. One of the most common surfaces is Vinyl Composition Tile or VCT. VCT tile is a hard durable surface made to withstand high traffic and last for years with a proper maintenance program. Proper maintenance starts with stripping & waxing the floors at least once a year and possibly more often depending on the amount of foot traffic in the building. Frequent sweeping, vacuuming & mopping the floors to remove the dirt can prolong the life of the wax.
We can also provide a periodic service between the initial strip & wax to maintain the high shine and overall cleanliness of the floors.
Stripping a floor involves using a chemical stripping agent that is applied to the floor and scrubbed with a weighted floor machine to remove the old wax.

All corners and edges are detailed cleaned by hand using razor blade tools. Once the wax has been removed the floors are rinsed with neutral cleaner. Floors are now prepared to apply 3 or 5 coats of commercial grade 25% solid wax.
